Create a Jewish Legacy is funded by the Richmond Jewish Foundation and the Jewish Community Federation of Richmond. It is a United Jewish Communities pilot program. Legacy Institute is a program to train leaders of local Jewish agencies, congregations, museums and schools to prepare to seek support from loyal supporters especially in the form of bequests for permanent endowments. Faculty for the Legacy Institute has included such national names as Professor Chris Hoyt, Gail Littman of San Diego's Jewish Community Foundation and Philip Rovner of Tidewater Jewish Foundation.
